Lewis spent two and a half years covering the weather desk at KARK. While in Little Rock, she was part of the state's first dual weather team where she shared the 5, 6 &10:00 p.m. weathercasts with the chief meteorologist. Parella went on to become the weekend anchor and primary storm chaser, tracking down tornadoes and severe weather throughout the state.Parella began her career in the place she spent most of her childhood. She worked as the 5,6 & 10 p.m. weather anchor at KATC TV in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she forecasted everything from hurricanes and floods to extreme heat. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. What's Lewis doing now? After leaving KARK in late 2003, she has found a home at WTHR, Indianapolis, Indiana. Lewis can be seen anchoring "Weekend Sunrise" Saturday and Sunday mornings on WTHR.

KARK stopped the dual weather thing and moved her to weekends when research showed she was scoring higher then Brett Cummings. I had never heard of a station demoting someone for scoring too high in research, until KARK did it. Glad to see she's doing well.
